Deer in my brother’s Stagecoach, Texas yard – (photo by Jerry’s daughter Mandy)
As I was writing the caption for the deer pic, my sister called. She and Jerry are twins. She lives in Texas, too. I lived in Houston for awhile. She still lives there.
Smokey haze at Shasta Lake July 29
The smoke from the Big Sur fire has made Redding skies hazy. Here at the Treehouse, haze obscures the view of Lassen, Mount Shasta, and most of our other familiar Northern California mountains.
Speedboats, Houseboats, Party boats and Fishing boats on Shasta Lake
My sister called to tell me that her grandson will be performing on an awards show taking place in Los Angeles. She didn’t remember the name of the show or if it was on today or tomorrow. That’s okay because I can’t remember the name of her grandson. He is a YouTube teen personality figure and according to my sister, making lots of money.
Sidewalk rose on a 112 degree day at the Treehouse
I should turn on the TV and see if it is on now. Whatever it is. She said it comes on at 7, but maybe not until tomorrow. One must keep in mind that when she called, she thought today was Friday.
I think his name is Blake Gray. He puts on funny hats, acts goofy and lip-syncs to popular teen songs. He has many teenybopper fans according to my sister.
Another ‘hot’ sidewalk rose
I can see that 2 and 1/2 men is on my TV at the moment. I will turn it on again later at 7 today and again tomorrow. For now, I think I will finish this post.
